Is it just us or have you been seeing bows everywhere?? Bows can be friend or foe, just establish your grounds before you step out on the scene ;) For those just wanting to test these waters try a simple chain necklace with a dainty bow and other charms or if your really feeling this trend, sport that hat with the big pretty bow or the faux bow belt! Small side bags are so cute yet comfortable to carry around! They allow you to be hands-free and still have all your necessities with you! Although they can't fit tons of stuff in them, most side bags have enough room for your must-haves. A bright orange side bag is great for accenting and giving a pop of color to a plain outfit while a neutral gray or black side bag is easy to match and throw on with any outfit.

Hot color of the season

The hottest color for the Fall of 2010 is red. Red pairs well with jewel tones like gold, bronze,copper, amethyst & aquamarine. Black will make this stand out too much, red should be your "touch" of color. These color combos can be toned down by pairing them with denims such as a skirt, jacket/vest or your all-time favorite jeans. When shopping for these "in style" pieces always keep in mind versatility. You want to select key pieces that can be mixed & matched with other pieces or try a few inexpensive pieces that you don't mind rotating from week to week. A simple t-shirt can pair well with a denim vest during the day or a grey cardigan for an evening with the bf. For work try a red tank or cami paired with a blazer & slacks.

Another major upcoming trend for Fall 2010 is the Military style. It is very chic yet gives off a tough vibe! We always see tons of celebrities wearing this trend whether it be for a night out or just a casual stroll through the streets. To stripe or not to stripe??

Stripes are still very much in whether you like it or not! Anyone can wear stripes, you just need to find which work for you. There are so many options when it comes to this trend, from pin stripe to really wide stripes or you can try a striped floppy hat if you aren't feeling anything too bold . Try a top with stripes going all different directions & different widths and pair with a simple pair of leggings or jeans & some comfy sandals or jazz it up with your favorite wedges. You don't need to take the nautical route if you are not sure how to work it. Layer a striped tank with a denim vest or a cropped cardigan/jacket. Layering tanks of solid colors can help you too, if you put the striped tank under a plain top, you can have the stripes peeking out the bottom.
The key is not to wear your tops too fitted. Try on different patterns & find one that flatters you the best.
